Windows 10 sync folders to external drive

broken image

I have issued the following registry command to rebuild the database Sync Center (reg add HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\Csc\Parameters /v FormatDatabase /t REG_DWORD /d 1) From within the Sync Center, I have deleted folders/files listed in the Mapped Network Drive section of this toolĢ. This problem can also come and go, meaning sometimes, when you access these mapped folders, they work just fine and other times they do not.ġ. From either local or remote locations, when trying to access a mapped network drive, there will either be no files shown or only a few files/folders Our employees work both onsite and remotely.

My problem seems to be somewhat random in nature. NOTE: We are a small organization, so group policy applies to all users.Īll computers are laptops of identical make/model Group policy configured for folder redirection for local folders (documents and pictures folders) to server folder Group policy configured for roaming profiles to server folder Group policy configured for 3 mapped drives to separate NAS device

I have seen a few posts for this already, but none seem to cover my problem and none of the solutions - save disabling all Offline Files has resolved.
